About this service
The Acquired Brain Injury Program supports people over the age of 15 who have a brain injury that is impairing their independence and ability to function in the community.
Participants in the program enjoy goal-based activities that include arts, woodworking, gardening, music therapy, cooking, and educational games. The group takes a hands-on approach to activities of daily living including meal planning, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and clean up. Participants benefit from companionship, peer support, assistance with personal goals, and community interaction.
There are beautiful gardens for participants to visit throughout the day. Those interested in gardening have the opportunity to get involved in its design, development, and maintenance.
