To provide services to heritage groups in order to assist them in both retaining their own culture and in sharing it with others. To promote multiculturalism in the community by heightening public awareness of the benefits of and the necessity for cross cultural understanding by developing and instituting programs to promote such understanding, thus enriching Canadian society.
