About this service
If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, a marketable business idea and are ready to work hard and be your own boss this may be an employment assistance activity for you. We can help you with two self employment options: full time self employment or blended self employment. If you are interested in either of these options, a caseworker and employment counsellor specializing in self employment will provide guidance and help you get started. Full Time Self Employment You must be willing to dedicate a minimum of 30 hours per week or more to work-related activities generate the greatest possible income from your business. Blended Self Employment You must be willing to participate in a combination of self employment and other employment activities equalling a minimum of 30 hours per week. This could include part time or seasonal self employment.
