Employment related expenses We can help you access money to cover the cost of expenses associated with job searching and employment preparation. Faxing, printing and photocopies We have resources to help you fax, print and photocopy employment related material such as rsums, job ads, and more. Internet access Check email, social media, news feeds, employer web sites, job search sites and more. Job searching tips/mock interviews We can help you learn how to network and practice your interview skills in a safe environment while receiving helpful feedback. Personality and interest assessments We provide personality and interest assessments to help give you a clearer picture of which education or employment options may be most appropriate for you. Assessments may include True Colors, Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator or the Strong Interest Inventory. Referrals to community resources and personal counselling We can provide referrals to help you access resources such as community agencies, personal or credit counselling and more. Rsum development and review We can help you create or revise your rsum to help get you a job interview. Spotlight information sessions We offer periodic spotlight information sessions that focus on exciting emerging industries such as film and television, local trade union training and apprenticeship opportunities and fringe jobs.
