CAMP QUIN-MO-LAC - COUNSELLOR IN TRAINING

The Counsellor in Training (CIT) program at Camp Quin-Mo-Lac is a two-week leadership initiative designed for teens aged 15-16 who display a genuine interest in children and camping. The program focuses on developing effective counseling and leadership skills, with the first week dedicated to sessions on parenting skills, communication, and faith discussions. The second week involves on-the-job training in counseling children. A crucial aspect of the CIT program is the Bronze Medallion swim training, with eligible participants offered the opportunity to pursue a Bronze Cross swimming certification. Besides hands-on training, CITs receive accommodation, food, Emergency First Aid with CPR-B training, and a graduation ceremony. Successful graduates are invited to the following summer's staff/volunteer training week. The registration fee for the program is $625.
