Interested in living on your own? Community Living Cambridge can help. Independent Living Choices offers people the opportunity to explore living on their own (or with a roommate) with support from CLC staff. There are two options for people looking for support living on their own.
CLC operates two groups on Bakersfield Drive geared toward independent living. In these two homes, the focus is on developing the skills required to live independently in a supported environment. The ILC team works with people living in these two homes on skills such as navigating transit and buying groceries and preparing meals.
If a group home isnt right for you, Community Living Cambridge supports many people who live either on their own or with a roommate in an apartment in Cambridge. For individuals living on their own, support from CLC is matched to their specific needs.
