Port Nelson GLEE Camp Mission:
"To provide an affordable, quality summer day camp experience in a Christian setting."
Summer GLEE day camps are for children in Sr. Kindergarten (Yr. 2 FDK) to grade 6, with a young leaders program (GLEEders) for grade 7s.
CAMP LEADERSHIP:
Musical Leadership
The GLEEders program is offered for campers in grades 6 and 7. It is part of the Camp.
As members of the Gleeders program, campers will:
- Work to develop important leadership skills including teamwork, communication, etc. through games and activities
- Be responsible for the production of a short skit to teach an important lesson to younger groups (including choosing a theme, writing a script, making props, and performing)
- Participate in the weekly concert with the rest of the camp, acting as mentors for the younger campers
- Enjoy fun camp sports and games
