About this service

We are an incorporated charitable non-profit organization (Charitable Registration Number: 11901 0387 RR0001) that provides information, services and programs to support the needs of individuals who are impacted by a Learning Disability. We are a chapter of the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario. We were formed in 1967 (as the Learning Disabilities Association of Halton), and have recently expanded our purview into the Hamilton Region.

Our Mission: To provide advocacy, education, and services for individuals with learning disabilities to

empower them to reach their full potential.

Our Vision: A world where individuals with learning disabilities are included, empowered and celebrated.

Our Philosophy: Individuals with Learning Disabilities can learn if we have the skills to teach them, and with appropriate help, they can develop the necessary coping skills to reach their potential.
