About this service

Good food is our specialty, but we believe in taking a holistic approach to our operations. Our Social Supports Program works with our community to address and move through the underlying causes of food insecurity by helping to strengthen support networks. This includes collaborating with local organizations as well as member participation to meet basic needs and achieve personal goals.

We offer tangible, informational, and emotional support as we develop solutions to obstacles. We encourage our members to participate in our life skills programming and to work one on one for increased rapport.

At TNDF, we believe everyone deserves the same, non-judgmental treatment and respect regardless of race, sexual orientation, ability, age, gender, religion, or economic status. We understand that our systems are not equal for everyone, there are structural barriers in place which are unjust in our society, but we do believe everyone has the potential and resources to enhance their self-efficacy
