About this service

The Nourish Community Hub is a valuable community resource, where food, people, and ideas grow.

Under the leadership of The Nourish and Develop Foundation, plans and dreams of partners and programs were brought to fruition. Funded by the Slabodkin Family Trust, after years of community consultation and planning, the Nourish Community Hub was constructed in downtown Cannington to serve Brock Township and the surrounding area.

Formerly known as the Brandon Bakery, the renovations to upgrade the building were completed in the summer of 2015, and the doors were opened for community access. Every effort was made to retain as much of the original building as possible as a recognition of the heritage and character of our town.

During the planning phase, the community identified the need for a safe space where residents could access information and services.
