About this service

REACH is an information distribution program designed to provide victims of crime and tragedy with literature that is specific to their personal needs following their victimization. The program contains an extensive library of brochures, tip sheets, articles, and guides to help clients make informed decisions.

While crisis intervention is often sufficient for some clients, many require more comprehensive follow-up services from counselling agencies. REACH contains user-friendly brochures and guides to services provided by more than 50 community agencies. The information discusses a broad range of topics such as bereavement, grief, suicide, child sexual abuse, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, woman abuse, victim impact statements, sexual assault, drug education, and funeral arrangements. Counsellors continually add to our resources ensuring that information remains current.
