About this service
Our patients tell us over and over that the care they receive from their Personal Support Workers is the most important part of their health care services. PSWs assist patients to get all the day-to day-things done that are essential for good health but that the patients may no longer be able to do safely for themselves. PSWs help patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, light housekeeping, exercising and medications. Sometimes Personal Support Workers receive additional training from CarePartners to perform skilled tasks such as administering insulin or using a glucose meter.
