About this service
This is a health and wellness program funded by the Ministry of Health Promotion. Its goal is to promote healthy eating and physical activity among African Canadians in Peel. The program is targeted to newcomer youth, children and families to reduce the incidence of the risks factors for health issues in the community including heart disease, diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure and other diseases associated with limited participation in physical activities and unhealthy eating habits and food choices.
