About this service
The Co-Operative Housing Program provides safe and affordable housing to young people aged 16-24 who are ready for semi-independent living. This program assists you with living on your own with 2 or 3 other young people while working with a supportive and caring counselor. Many of the young people who live in our co-op housing have graduated from the Transition Home Program. When you move in, you are paired with the Supportive Housing Counselor who will work with you one-to-one to help you develop the life and social skills you will need before you move on to independent living. Your counselor can help you explore your options and can also make referrals to Youthab's housing, mental health, and employment programs or to other community resources.
