About this service
Youth2Youth HPE is a youth-led initiative under United Way Hastings & Prince Edward. The group seeks innovative ideas and partnerships with community leaders to address local issues identified by the youth, such as economic development, environment, youth poverty, sexual health, substance abuse, mental health, social media, gender equality/diversity, and community gaps. The initiative fosters an inclusive culture and connects youth with opportunities while listening to them on crucial matters. They also organize working groups to encourage youth leadership and empower them to instigate change at the grassroots level. They also create resources and services to improve experiences for youth in Hastings & Prince Edward and strive to increase solutions to local problems.
