PET ADOPTION

Pet Adoption is a significant service provided by the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward (HSHPE). This society helps hundreds of animals every year to find new homes. In addition to assisting in finding suitable pets for families, they also provide guidance on how to care for them. Specifically, the Barn Cat Program is designed to match semi-feral cats with farmers and rural residents. Furthermore, the HSHPE caters to owners who have to surrender their pets due to changes in their circumstances. The society also plays an important role in reuniting lost animals with their families.
