About this service
Meta Employment Services offers a Supported Employment program for individuals with disabilities who are unemployed and not in school full-time. Based in Belleville/Marmora, the service helps with all aspects of job hunting, including job-specific training, workplace expectations, job matching, job search support, and job retention. Assistance is provided even after employment, with further training and conflict resolution. The service is also targeted at individuals receiving support from the Ontario Disability Support Program or the Canada Pension Plan Disability. The program also offers workshops on topics such as disclosing a disability to an employer, understanding workplace rights, workplace culture, dressing for success, and job searching.
