About this service
The Empathy Pilot Program is a community-based outreach initiative funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation. The program, facilitated by the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward, aims to foster emotional and social skills and provide companionship by using animals in the care of the Society. This initiative is primarily designed for various groups, including local at-risk youth, adolescents, adults, seniors, and individuals with intellectual disabilities.
