About this service

At TRC we follow strict Urine Drug Screen (UDS) testing guidelines as mandated by College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). All new patients enrolling in the MMT program are required to provide urine samples under professional supervision which may involve closed-circuit TV as part of the initial assessment and eligibility protocols. Once a patient is enrolled in the program, the UDS is done on a fixed or random schedule as indicated by the attending physician as required for patient stability at various program treatment and maintenance stages.
