About this service
If you are expecting your first child, it is normal to feel a little anxious when you think about what is to come. Help prepare yourself both physically and emotionally for pregnancy and childbirth. Preparing for Pregnancy is a program that provides both video-based and/or one-on-one peer support to equip you for your pregnancy and childbirth experience and life with a little one. This comprehensive, professional and medically sound video curriculum is evidence-based and audience tested. Included are in-depth modules on what to expect in all 3 trimesters, in-depth sections on labor and delivery, breastfeeding, postpartum depression, bonding with your newborn plus so much more and it can all be done from the comfort of your home on your phone, iPad or laptop! Participants who complete ten or more modules will be eligible to receive a complimentary diaper bag filled with supplies for mom and baby.
