About this service
The Opioid Management Program, situated in Belleville and its surrounding area, is a new client-centered initiative that is part of the CMHA HPE's comprehensive integrated opioid strategy. In partnership with various community organizations such as Quinte Health Care (QHC), Addictions and Mental Health Services-Hastings Prince Edward, and Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre (BQWCHC), the program aims to provide rapid access to services and reduce harm. The services offered by the program include assessment and treatment planning for substance use issues, linkage with healthcare services for management of opioid withdrawal, education on overdose prevention, counseling and psychotherapy, peer support, relapse prevention, and aftercare services for individuals who have completed residential treatment. The initiative also focuses on increasing public awareness and education around opioid use.
