About this organization

Since 1983, we have been providing community treatment services, support and assistance to those struggling with substance use and problem gambling.

At ASYR, we focus on you and your recovery. We provide community treatment programs and group services to individuals who are 12 years of age and older, and their families. Our services are free of charge, except for specialized programming.

Our clinical philosophy embraces a holistic, biological, psychological, social and spiritual approach to help individuals and families deal with addiction issues. ASYR also uses a harm reduction approach in addiction treatment. Harm reduction incorporates a spectrum of strategies, from lessening the harm to abstinence. We equally respect clients who choose abstinence or harm reduction.
