About this service
Gender+ is a support group that welcomes people in the community who are trans, two-spirit and/or whose gender lies outside the binary. This includes, but is not limited to, genderfluid, genderqueer, non-binary, transgender, agender and bigender. This group also welcomes those who are questioning their gender. At this time the group is a closed group, meaning that those who are allies to the trans and gender nonconforming community must seek permission to attend as support for a trans or gender nonconforming person, but cannot attend alone simply to seek to better inform themselves there are workshops each month that are held to educate the public on the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and we encourage you to seek out those opportunities instead. This group meets every other Tuesday at the Rainbow Centre from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
