Dog Walking Program - organize and train volunteers to walk shelter dogs Spay/Neuter Loan Program - Promote spaying and neutering in the North by providing financial assistance where required Scholarship Program - Education bursary available for studies in animal related fields Education Services - Provide educational services to the general public on issues related to pets through advertising, promotion and various community events. Fund Raising - Several events held during the year including the Winter Gala, Dog Ball, Memorial Dog Job. Also bar tending and coat hanging for community events. Shelter Operations - General running of the NWT Shelter that provides food/mediation/shelter/care/adoption services for homeless animals from all over the North.
