Protect and maintain our Communitys Mikmaq harvesting customs, practices, traditions, Treaty rights, Aboriginal rights and other rights to our natural life resources throughout our traditional homelands of Mikmaki in Nova Scotia.
Provide and produce publications towards a better understanding about our Communitys access and use of natural life resources.
Support the development of Regional Netukulimkewel Advisory Councils (RNACs) as the vehicle by which the NCNS Community harvesters provide a voice and advice in the implementation of the Communitys regional harvesting plans.
Advance and implement dispute resolution and restorative justice processes between Community harvesters and governmental resource agencies and departments.
Develop, produce and implement Land Based and Aquatic natural life harvest plans, guidelines, reporting and their
administration.
