About this service
The FAST program is for skilled immigrants who want to get a head start in their career in Nova Scotia.
FAST is a free, online employment program to help you prepare to work in Canada in the following sectors:
Trades
Biotechnology and life sciences
IT and data services
Accounting
Culinary arts
The FAST program will help you to:
better understand your industry sector and occupation in Canada
learn about Canadian workplace culture
evaluate your skills and knowledge
identify opportunities to fill skills and competency gaps
To be eligible for this program you must:
have a minimum of 2 years of experience in one of the five key sectors mentioned above
be a Permanent Resident, immigrant Canadian citizen, provincial nominee, or international graduate in Nova Scotia
be registered as an ISANS client and have an Employment Specialist
have a minimum language level of CLB 5+
