About this service
Participants in the employment training program work daily alongside one of our job coaches who assist with discovering, developing and nurturing new skill sets. Our job coaches work with each participant to determine their desire & commitment to work, interests, strengths, employment objectives, and appropriate work opportunities.
Job coaches also facilitate a series of workplace workshops during the employment training program. Workshops vary dependent upon the assessed needs of our clients, yet often include a job skills assessment, job skills development planning, resume building, interview training and attitude & teamwork in the workplace.
Job Coaches are responsible for instituting the "Walk About" program during employment training which encourages able participants to walk 10,000 steps a day. This aids in developing workplace endurance and durability while promoting living a healthy lifestyle.
