The Halifax Military Family Resource Centre is to strengthen the well-being of all those who share the unique experience of military life. Programs include: Child & Youth Services; Quality of Life and Education; Prevention, Support & Intervention counseling services; Emergency Deployment Respite Support child care; Day Care Services; Adult & Family Programming; essential Second Language training; Family Separation & Reunion & Outreach services; Personal Development & Community Integration; Family Liaison Officer providing support to families of CF personnel coping with illness, injury or special needs; Casualty Support child care; Volunteer recruitment, training and recognition.
