About this organization

The Bay St. George YMCA is a partnership of volunteers and staff dedicated to promoting the success of individuals, families and communities by offering YMCA programs that build strength in spirit, mind and body.

The Bay St. George YMCA opened in March 2014 in Stephenville and services the surrounding areas.

In September of 2013 the Humber Community YMCA signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Town of Stephenville to become operators of the former West Coast Training Center, now owned by the Town of Stephenville. The Bay St.George YMCA became a branch of the Humber Community YMCA initially but a name change of YMCA of Western NL Inc. was adopted by the Board of Directors on October.30 of 2014.

The Bay St.George YMCA is a 27,000 square ft facility it includes a gymnasium, cross training room, martial arts room, 2 squash courts, studio, office space and change rooms.
