About this service
10,820 students were diagnosed with Learning Disabilities in NL schools in 2018-19. The actual number of children with Learning Disabilities may be even higher as there are many children who are suspected of having a Learning Disability but who have not been assessed. What this means is that there are many K-12 students across the province who previously did not have access to our tutoring program could benefit greatly from it. Through the generosity of the Patten Family Foundation, we have been able to set up the online version of the Barton Reading and now we are able to offer it to rural NL with tuition subsidies. If your child has a diagnosed/suspected Learning Disability or struggles with reading, put your name and details forward by filling out a form by clicking on the above poster. Our tuition costs are kept low to make this much-needed service accessible to as many people as possible. However, there are subsidies available for those with a financial need.
