About this service
A 26 fully accessible climbing wall offers a challenge to climbers of all ages and abilities. There are four main routes with varying levels of difficulty.
Using a 4:1 belay pack with an easy seat harness, assistance can be given so that anyone can ascend the wall. We also have an ascender handle which now allows our climbers to pull themselves up the wall independently.
TA Loeffler, adventurist extraordinaire, has shared her expertise to our program development and trains the volunteer belayers. Adaptive equipment is available for climbers with strong upper body strength but minimum leg strength to climb the wall using a pull-up style ascender.
