About this service
Kavanagh Place is an emergency shelter in
St. Johns. The shelter is a safe place for seniors (55+) who are experiencing homelessness.
Kavanagh Place has rooms for individuals as well as couples.
The shelter is centrally located on a quiet street.
There are ten rooms, each with cable television.
There are four shared washrooms, a common area, and a large kitchen. Meals and snacks are provided.
Our staff can help with finding permanent housing, attending appointments, and financial planning.
We provide transportation related to housing and medical appointments.
