About this organization

Brighter Futures has been offering programs and services to families on the Burin Peninsula since its incorporation in April 1994. We currently operate Family Resource Centers in nine communities around the Boot, with four Healthy Baby Clubs serving seven communities and surrounding areas.

Mission statement

Burin Peninsula Brighter Futures is dedicated to promoting the healthy development of young children & families

Our team of Family Support Facilitators, Resource Mothers, and volunteer Board of Directors are committed to support the health of all children and families. We work to provide a safe and welcoming environment, quality programs and services, enriched learning experiences through active engagement, information and resource sharing, peer support and mentoring.

Together, we will build stronger, healthier families and communities.
