About this organization

The Family Outreach Resource Centre was funded in 1994 in Corner Brook, NL. It offers family resource programs for families with children aged 0-6 years. The Family Outreach Resource Centre is also home to the Corner Brook Healthy Baby Club.

The Family Outreach Resource Centre also offers:

  • drop-in playgroups at our playroom on Union Street and our outreach site at Humber United Church on Clarence St.
  • We also offer a Kindergarten readiness program for four year olds called Pre-Kindergarten
  • We offer age specific programs that focus on various developmental and social areas such as music, gross motor, cooking, art etc.
  • We also have a Toy Lending Library that families can borrow toys and books for their children.
