The Salvation Army Small Blessings Early Childhood Development Centre

Small Blessings has been in operation since 1989 and in that time has built a great reputation and many long lasting relationships. We take our career as early childhood educators very seriously and work each day to help each child make friends, understand life and understand themselves a little better. Since being established in 1989 our centre has seen THOUSANDS of young learners develop the skills needed to be successful in life and it has been a lot of fun for all involved. In 2015 Small Blessings undertook an expansion to our existing premises and now operate three licenses that services 165 spaces for children aged 6 months to 12 years. In January 2019 Small Blessings became a provincially designated Early Childhood Learning Centre. We operate four programs as follows: Full-time preschool for children aged 6 mos to 5 years Part-time morning preschool is offered during the school year for children aged 3, 4 and 5 years After school program is offered during the school year for children aged 5 to 12 years Summer Camp is offered for children aged 5 to 12 entering kindergarten and up to grade 6 Small Blessings Early Childhood Development Centre is an English facility, which maintains licenses under the authority of Sections 3 and 4(1) of the New Brunswick Early Childhood Services Act. The New Brunswick Department of Education and Early Childhood Development is responsible for the Early Childhood Services Act. A foundation of physical, academic, and spiritual principles guide our centre each day toward an even brighter future. Small Blessings follows the New Brunswick Curriculum Framework for Early Childhood Education with our preschool programs and New Brunswick Plays for our after school and summer camp programs.
