Teaching Kitchens is a nutrition-education program that helps enhance the food security and nutrition of those living with limited financial resources. By helping to develop practical cooking skills and making healthier choices, participants learn hands-on practical cooking skills and healthy eating that can easily be applied in their own homes. Key lessons include: food safety, basic nutrition following Canadas Food Guide, menu planning and budgeting.
