Enviro Plus - The Light Program

The Light Program consists of offering unemployed and/or homeless people a complete learning service in order to discern between the person who has the skills to seek and find a job and the one who, at present, does not seem to have reached this level. The program is divided into three distinct phases: PHASE 1 The two-week orientation period gives the clients the chance to gradually familiarize themselves with this new work environment. PHASE 2 The four-week assessment process aims to observe and assess the clients for their abilities to proceed to Phase 3. PHASE 3 The twelve-week training period provides the client with training primarily focused on learning soft skills. Certain basic conditions will be required to access this level of training. During Phase 3, classroom training sessions will be presented to qualifying customers. (For example: Situations relating toreliability; integrity; self-confidence; adaptation; communication; development of a critical mind; ability to live in society and others). Responsibilities: Throughout the process, those in charge of the Light Program will always be attentive to encourage the client who is falling behind to persevere and to encourage those who meet or exceed the required expectations. Homelessness Priorities Be able to survive in an apartment Follow the guidelines of conduct established by the manager of the accommodation found Focus on homeless program goals Other training sessions offered to deserving clients: Clients who demonstrate a clear ability to move towards more specific training will be encouraged to pursue more advanced courses. Here are some examples: Digital Literacy Living well in an apartment Resume and interview behavior Truck driver and delivery Warehouse work Retail and customer service Line cook course A teaching partnership has been concluded with a local educational institution.
