New Brunswick Refugee Clinic

Its mandate is to provide free bilingual legal services to refugee claimants in New Brunswick who do not have the financial means to hire a private lawyer. Similarly, the clinic assists at-risk persons with applications for permanent residency on humanitarian and compassionate grounds.

The clinics services are provided free of charge by qualified staff under the direction of experienced immigration and refugee lawyers. The clinic is led by a Board of Directors composed entirely of dedicated volunteer lawyers with many years of experience working with refugees and newcomers. The New Brunswick Refugee Clinic also offers significant practical training opportunities for law students, trainee lawyers, practicing lawyers and community members in the area of immigration and refugee law.
