About this service
This program gives youth the opportunity to prepare food safely and hygienically. Based on youth input participants are taught to combine and taste ingredients that make up their favourite meals and treats. They learn how to take care of themselves and their bodies through healthy cooking. They also learn to clean up after themselves and keep the kitchen tidy (this includes dishes, laundry, and proper hand washing techniques).
