Our Resource Coordinator provides or arranges a variety of educational and training programs in the community:

Emergency Response Information Kit (E.R.I.K.)

This program, developed in conjunction with the Winnipeg Paramedic Services, is an effective tool for seniors and other community members to maintain a current accessible record of their medical conditions and instructions for care.

Falls Prevention

Falls are the leading cause of injury and death among seniors. This interactive presentation gives seniors tools and tips on how to stay active, promote safety and prevent falls.

Community Updates. Twice a month the SWSRC sends out an email blast to our community and friends. The blast contains information on programs, activities and educational workshops for the community and across the city.

Pop Up Offices. To better connect to our community, the SWSRCs Resource Coordinator hosts a Pop Up Office at various community facilities, malls and residences.
