About this service
The aim of the project is to help participants improve their financial situation by learning to manage a budget. We help individuals and their families save for needed goods or items that they might not have been able to afford prior to participating in this project.
We offer training for ten (10) weeks to people who meet the qualification criteria, that is, people must:
- Complete the training for ten (10) weeks
- Be present during all training
- Open a bank account with Assiniboine Credit Union
- Make a deposit of $ 65 per month for four (4) months and they will receive $ 750 for their purchase
- Choose an item they need to improve their life and that of their family.
