About this service
This program began in 1976 and provides financial counselling and payment plan negotiations with creditors. It is open to everyone, regardless of income and financial circumstances. Both individuals and families with concerns regarding basic budgeting, credit and debt are welcome to use the services. The counselling program includes in depth financial assessments and a complete review of the options available. We will also provide information and education about finances and managing your money. CFCS offers a licensed Debt Management Program (DMP) to eligible clients where, with creditor agreement, monthly payments may be arranged and interest rates reduced.
