About this service
COVID-19 UPDATE
We are continuing to provide the following as long as supplies last, on a first come first serve basis.
- Snacks
- Hygiene
- Harm Reduction Supplies
- Basic Needs
- Infant supplies
- Menstrual Supplies
The Drop-in can now be accessed to use the phone or the washroom. 15 minute time limit. 1 person in the Centre at a time. Face masks are mandatory, screening questions are asked at the door and temperature is taken upon entry.
NEWC is currently offering crisis counselling over the phone. If this is a service you require, please call the front desk at 204-589-7347 and staff will take down your contact information and have a counsellor return your call as soon as possible.
Scheduled counselling sessions will also be completed over the phone if you are currently working with a counsellor.
