About this service
Our program works with children from birth to age 14 with confirmed prenatal exposure to alcohol.
- Home-based services for families caring for children up to age 6 who have been prenatally exposed to alcohol
- Help in understanding the strengths and challenges of individuals with FASD
- Information about alcohol-related disabilities and the sensory needs of children
- Assistance and advocacy for families in matters of childcare, housing and daily living issues
- Services which address issues related to: child development, attachment, school readiness skills, healthy nutrition, positive coping, mental health, addictions and safety
- Support in accessing diagnostic services and other community based resources
- Self-Regulation Therapy for parent, and child participants of the program
- Circle of Security Parenting (COS-P) group
- Services that are trauma informed, culturally sensitive, non-judgmental and participant led
