About this service
The Volunteer Matching Program matches newly arrived refugees with Canadians who volunteer to provide friendship in the form of emotional and social support to refugees during the time they are adjusting and adapting to life in Canada. This friendship will help refugees to integrate and understand the culture and values in their new country. The goal of this program is to is to ease the transition for refugees and to provide family time between volunteers and refugees.
