About this service
The Intensive Treatment Service is a hospital based service that provides intensive assessment and treatment services to adolescents with severe psychiatric and/or emotional disorders.
Population Served: Adolescents ages 12 to 18 years from Manitoba and the North.
Referrals are accepted from parents, caregivers, doctors and/or counsellors, as well as self-referrals. All referrals are directed to the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Centralized Intake Service at 204-958-9660.
Services are provided through a multidisciplinary treatment team centering on the needs of the client/family. Services may include:
- Individual, group, and/or family therapy
- Pharmacological therapy, and parent support
