The Outreach department works to empower individuals to make effective long-term changes to their economic and social environment and to link them to the other programs of the agency. Many people seem to either require more services than traditional programs are able to offer or are unable to comfortably use such programs. The Outreach department offers a more flexible response to their needs.Other services offered by the outreach department:
- Support and advocacy
- Crisis Counselling
- Home visits
- Community development
- Emergency food
- Winnipeg Harvest Food Bank (every second Monday)
- Community garden
