About this service
With 9 locations around the city, Healthy Start's pregnancy program welcomes pregnant people and expectant families to talk, share their concerns and connect to both other parents and community resources in hopes that together we will give all babies a healthy start.
We spend part of each group discussing a featured topic like labour, prenatal nutrition and preparing to breastfeed, discomforts during pregnancy and stressors, including lifestyle choices.
Nurses, outreach workers and dietitians are also available throughout the session to provide group and one-on-one support.

NOTE: Due to COVID-19, Healthy Start drop-in community groups have temporarily stopped. We are offering a VIRTUAL PREGNANCY GROUP on Tuesdays, and a DIETITIAN SESSION on Wednesdays. All Welcome! Contact Healthy Start to join.
