About this service
Lennox Bell Place is a transitional housing project. Its purpose is to safely transition a diverse population of patients who are medically stable and do not require acute care services, but do not meet safe discharge criteria. These individuals are often:
- on EIA: and
- cannot physically access their housing, or
- are waiting for accessible housing;
- homeless and cannot access shelter, or
- homeless with no housing options due to past evictions;
- relocate to Winnipeg, or
- home community cannot accommodate health care needs.
Lennox Bell Place provides a private room with private bath and Health Care Aide support. Nursing support is provided through the Home Care program. Three meals plus a snack and laundry services are also provided.
