About this service
The purpose of the Tutoring Program is to provide one-on-one support to women in the Winnipeg Remand Centre and Women's Correctional Centre to develop their skills in a variety of educational areas. This includes subjects such as reading and writing, mathematics, language arts, science, and history. Volunteers are able to interact with women individually to help determine their tutoring needs.
